I think community nurses should focus on the community rather than nationally. While we still need to be aware of whats going on in the country, our main focus should be locally. We need to be informed about medicare and medicaid, healthcare for low-income families, children and education. Polititians need our professional opinions in order to pass the laws that affect our community.
